Day 145 - Temptation….
Uggg - I think the one thing I hate is the feeling of temptation to eat those foods that are not good for you, you know they are bad for you, but they are so easy to access. I just finished lunch, and I have these werthers chocolate pieces (about 40 calories each) in my desk drawer. I do not want to eat one until the days comes more to a close, but the chocolate is just sitting there, almost as though it is saying “EAT ME!”.
I know I should not keep the candy in my office, but when I don’t, I notice I make worse decisions such as getting a milk shake, or a whole candy bar and eating the entire thing. Any thoughts?
Only have one in your desk everyday and leave it sitting out and use it as a reward of getting through without giving in. I love these little round disks of citrus flavors jellys and they are my reward. After a while I didn’t need the reward, I had replaced it with exercise and I didn’t feel like cheating. I have a long way to go to be there again. Don’t give up, you know it tastes good, but keep a mirror next to it, if you need the image or a slim picture. Good luck
I agree only having one will make it so you still recieve a reward, but then you aren’t like to just pop one in your mouth when every
If you have a freezer at work, put the excess ones in the freezer. I have a can of diet pop as my afternoon hunger suppressant, and I never put it in the fridge till 1 pm, so I won’t drink it too early.
Definitely keep the candy & i agree with everyone above.
